KOMURAMPULI which is the next film of Pawan Kalyan is said to be filming at a snails pace. Some sources say that the movie is taking its time to present itself as a winner at the box office.

Pawan Kalyan is said to be leaving no stone unturned to make his film a big success. The script of the movies is little bit out and is as follows.

Pawan Kalyan is a strict police officer with an aim to fight for justice and to pull out corruption. One day he saves the life of the Chief Minister from the dreadful hands of some international terrorists. The CM then arranges a felicitation and ask’s Pawan for any of his wish to be full filled in order to return his favor. Pawan Kalyan politely seeks the permission of the CM and fetches a powerful post in a home ministry. His aim is to pull out the politicians who are the roots of corruption. But unfortunately, his deed misfires and the Chief Minister wants to end PULI.

The reason is suspense and is a message oriented, romantic actionized movies.

Politics loves tollywood, but till when?

Politics of Andhra Pradesh has turned into a psyche game these days with all the parties trying to woo the Telugu cinema celebrities in order to get the votes of their fans. They are making many sorts of amendments in order to accommodate the film stars.

Already Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Superstar Krishna, Pavan Kalyan, Nagubabu, Mahesh Babu (about to campaign for Congress), Rajshekhar, Ashwini Dutt, Hari Krishna, Kalyan Ram, Tarak, Junior NTR, Mohan Babu, Brahmanandham (Yet to Announce), Jayasudha, Roja, Jeevitha Rajshekhar, Vijaya Nirmala, Parchuri Brothers, Comedian Venu Madhav (If the criminal case against him ends in time) Babu Mohan, Ramanaidu, Dasari Narayana Rao and others are into the murky game of politics. Some have started to their duty to attract the voters with their presence, while other are yet to enter politics. Actor Ravi Teja and Venkatesh have openly revealed that they will stay away from politics.

TDP, Congress has started to evaluate the stars according to their profiles + back ground and are seen busy in wooing them. Mahesh Babu is being lured in the politics as his wife is planning to venture out into diamond and fashion business and he may get a resourceful package from the present Chief Minister. Chiranjeevi and his family are already into politics and are seen wooing the voters with some promises. TDP clan showed their strength to the opposition by organizing a Praja Garjana which more looked like Kamma Garjana.

But only till the elections this entertainment will be served to people, after the elections, Nara Chandrababu is going to eliminate Balakrishna, Hari Krishna and others and will take on the reigns. Congress is well known to back stab people from the past 20 years. Chiranjeevi is still in a dilemma whether the people are with him or against him. If at all he wins the elections his followers i.e. Dr. Mitra, Allu Arvind, Nagababu and Pavan will make him a puppet.

So, all you populace of Andhra Pradesh, please beware of this political games and poise your valuable vote to the truly deserving candidate.

WILL MARUTI SAYS 800 Goodbye?

This was the car that taught India to drive. With stricter emission norms coming into force in April 2010, the Maruti 800 that drove us to New India for the last 25 years may now drive into the sunset.

A Maruti official said on conditions of anonymity that Euro IV emission norms that come into effect in 13 cities in 2010 will force major changes in the 800, including fitting a new engine. But this will push the price of the car up. Alongside, there has been a steady decline in sales (see graphic) that has led to talks of a ‘phase-out’.

“Keeping the cost down in a car like 800 is essential and that is the major challenge,” said the official on condition of anonymity. “It is also an ageing brand and looks unviable to fit in a new Euro IV compliant engine and sell the car.”

Maruti, however, denied any plans of a phase-out. The company said the 800 will be in production as long as sales are robust. “There are absolutely no plans of a phase-out. We still sell 70,000 units of the car in a year, which is more than most other cars in the country,” a spokesperson for the company said.

The company recently launched a new KB series engine that is Euro IV and V compliant and will be fitted in the upcoming ‘A star’ model. This engine will subsequently be fitted in all existing small cars like the Alto, Wagon R and Estilo. The 800, however, may not get it.

Plenty of Reasons to Smile | Well Written Article by Andrew Miller on the Million $ Match

Superstars v England, Stanford 20/20 for 20, Antigua

Plenty of reasons to smile

Andrew Miller

Sir Allen Stanford said earlier this week that judgement on his tournament should be reserved until the millions had been divvied out, and the bigger picture had come fully into focus. By the end of a seismic night in Antigua, the point of his enterprise had become as chandelier-clear as the breathtaking fireworks that erupted over the ground, as eleven West Indian cricketers were welcomed, blinking and incredulous, into a world in which they need never to struggle again.

"This is better than anything in the world, I'll tell you straight up," said the Superstars captain, Chris Gayle. "We created history tonight. If anyone said to me that one game would bring so much pressure I'd have said it was a lie. But this is the most pressure I have ever felt, coming into this game. I'm just grateful for the way my family brought me up. My back is broad. I can handle the pressure."

But for some alarming running between the wickets in the early part of the Superstars run-chase, and the odd over-ambitious swipe across the line, you would never have known the extent of Gayle's anxieties. His 33-ball half-century dominated an extraordinary contest to such an extent that the pressure, unbelievably, had evaporated long before the halfway mark of the innings. As the Superstars linked arms on the boundary's edge, with their benefactor right in the thick of things as ever, their wives were seen weeping in the stands, overcome with the realisation that their dreams were about to come true.

"I'm just happy and grateful it's come to an end," said Gayle. "I'll be taking a couple of days to myself, definitely, because I've been really, really stressed out. The thing is with me, no one can tell when I'm under pressure because I don't show emotion much. If something's wrong you don't know, but that's just the person I am. Sometimes I keep so many things inside - these days I'm a bit more outspoken, I'm getting there somehow."

The notion of Gayle, the coolest cat in the cricketing jungle, expelling so much as a bead of sweat comes as a shock, but his week has encompassed far more than just cricket. He missed the first warm-up against Trinidad after his father and brother were both taken ill - the latter with a heart condition - and has been plagued all weeks by nefarious rumours about his private life. All those woes were compounded by the shooter he received against Middlesex on Thursday. A second-ball duck was no way to prepare for a contest such as this.

But now he has emerged smiling onto the other side. After his flippant vow to "spend it, man" if he won the jackpot, Gayle revealed that his first priority would be to "hook up my brother to a doctor to fix his heart." He added: "This experience will definitely help me as a person as well. I'm really, really happy to be in this situation, and gain more knowledge, and get to know people more. This is the best thing in the world."

England, to their credit, were magnanimous to a fault in defeat, with Kevin Pietersen positively beaming as he reflected on the social justice that had been meted out on his watch. "At the end of the day you look at the happy faces of those boys who have nothing, it brings a smile to my face to see how happy they are," he said. "I'm a human being, and these guys are fellow professionals. It is so great to see a guy fall over on his back crying, with a million dollars in his bank account."

We created history tonight. If anyone said to me that one game would bring so much pressure I'd have said it was a lie. But this is the most pressure I have ever felt, coming into this gameChris Gayle, Stanford Superstars captain

Pietersen conceded that England had never really bought into the whole winner-takes-all notion, having allowed themselves to be distracted by off-the-field "nonsense". But the Superstars never once suffered from the conflicting attitudes that dogged the visitors, and somehow, given the history of the Caribbean and England's central role therein, it was utterly fitting that the bounty on offer on this occasion was not pillaged by ungrateful invaders and carted back across the seas.

England probably never got quite that deep during the self-examinations that they have been putting themselves through this week, but perhaps they will now embark on their tour of India with a greater appreciation for the blessings their talents and nationality have granted them. Pietersen perhaps took it a step too far when he informed Gayle before the toss that "he didn't need the money" - an exchange that Gayle himself brought up after the game ("Who doesn't want a million, you got to be crazy!") - but his point was well-meant if clumsily expressed.

Money cannot buy happiness - it merely faciliates a standard of living that makes happiness in the long term more probable. The England team that routed South Africa in the summer ODIs was undoubtedly a happier mob than the rag-bag outfit that let a million dollars go up in smoke before their eyes in Antigua. But I'll bet, despite the inevitable pangs of disappointment, they sleep soundly in their beds tonight. One team wanted the riches, but the other team needed them. And gloriously, it was the desire that made the difference.

BCCI surprised over Kumble's retirement

BCCI surprised over Kumble's retirement

New Delhi (IANS): India's Test captain Anil Kumble announced his retirement from the international cricket during the fifth and the last day of the third Test against Australia on Sunday. His decision caught the BCCI completely off guard.

This will be Kumble's last international game for India and he will not travel to Nagpur for the last Test that begins on Thursday. His deputy Mahendra Singh Dhoni will take charge in the final match. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was caught unaware with Kumble 's decision to end to his 18-year long illustrious career.

BCCI's secretary N. Srinivasan was shocked to hear the news of the 38-year-old's retirement. "What, has he announced retirement? Don't worry if he takes any decision, he will consult with me," was Srinivasan's first reaction when contacted by IANS. "I have not been informed about any such decision," he added.

The senior players in the side were facing pressure to call it a day after a disastrous tour of Sri Lanka. Former skipper Sourav Ganguly, before the start of first Test at Bangalore, decided to hang his boots after the final Test at Nagpur.

Though Kumble's decision was not too far off,no one expected it to come this way and that too in the middle of an important series, in which India lead 1-0. The giant screens at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium flashed one-liner saying "Anil Kumble has decided to retire after this match and will not travel to Nagpur for the final Test". The news took the media by surprise, as the Test headed for a draw.

Kumble, who was going through a long form slump and did not play in Mohali because of a shoulder injury, came to bowl on Saturday after receiving ten stitches with his injured left-hand heavily bandaged.

Kumble is the leading wicket-taker for India and third highest in world with 619 wickets from 132 Tests. He retired from the one-day cricket in March 2007 with 337 wickets at 30.89 in 271 one-dayers. His last game was against Bermuda in the World Cup where he took 3 for 38 in India's 257-run win.

Kumble is renowned for his 10 wicket haul in a Test innings against Pakistan in New Delhi in 1999, becoming only the second bowler to achieve the feat after Englishman Jim Laker. His best one-day performance was six for 12 against West Indies at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata during the Hero Cup tournament in 1993.

Kumble announces retirement

Anil Kumble bowled his last ball for India as the third Test with Australia ended in a draw.

The India skipper announced his retirement before calling a halt to India's second innings on 208 for five, a lead of 244.

That left a possible 23 overs remaining in the day and Kumble came out to bowl four wicketless overs before the captains shook hands.

VVS Laxman had backed up his first innings double hundred with a an unbeaten half-century in the second earlier on the fifth day.

Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson raised faint hopes of a dramatic Australian victory with a wicket apiece in the morning session, but that prospect was ground into the dust at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

Gautam Gambhir (36) and Sachin Tendulkar (47) kept India afloat until Laxman (57 not out) and Sourav Ganguly (32 not out) led India to their declaration total deep into the final session.

That left Australia with the improbable task of chasing 245 for victory and Kumble opened proceedings with the new ball.

Matthew Hayden (16 not out) and Simon Katich (14 not out), however, denied the prolific leg-spinner a final hurrah as they reached 31 for no loss when stumps were drawn after eight overs had been bowled.

Kumble shook hands with his team-mates, both Australian batsman and the umpires at the end and was carried around the ground on the shoulders of his successor Mahendra Singh Dhoni for one last farewell at the Kotla, a venue which had brought him immense success.

The result means India take a 1-0 lead into the fourth and final Test at Nagpur, which starts on Friday, but Australia have a chance to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy should they win there.
